In the
days before Jupiter...
...all rats (and
many other creatures) worshipped three terrible deities of bloodshed
and war, known as the Raith Sidhe.
The first and most hideous and feared
of all was Hobb, the horned rat who revels in slaughter and to whom
peeled sacrifices were made.
The second is Mabb. Also known as the
sleep visitor, she is an enchantress and mistress of glamour who
inspires slumbering rats to murder.
Lastly there is Bauchan, the most complex
one of the three. He is a mischief maker and delights in visiting
his followers in disguise to test their hearts. Although the Raith
Sidhe were usurped by Jupiter long ago, they are still remembered
and the rats continue to use their zodiac to this very day.
Remember! These
infernal starsigns only apply to the evil rats and misguided Hobbers.
